Recipe of the Week :: Lazy Bones Carob Balls
Try out this delicious recipe for the lazy bones in your life! Not to mention the recipe is so easy, they almost make themselves. Keep in mind, these weekly recipes are not only all natural, but they are perfect bites for you and the dog in your life to share (just use separate bowls!).
Ingredients checklist:
1 cup carob powder
1 cup skim milk
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups bran flake cereal
You gotta love a short and sweet list of ingredients. And the way these simple parts all come together is incredible—you'll reach a new level of hero-dom in the eyes of your pup.
In a large bowl, combine carob, milk, honey, and vanilla.
Add bran flakes and mix thoroughly.
Break off golf ball-size pieces and form into balls.
Place balls in a sealed container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Store remaining balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
And there you have it! This recipe makes about 20 balls.
